Can SMART Project Funding be used for projects already underway?
Projects must have started AFTER October 31, 2011. You will have one year from the start date of your project or notification date if the project has not started or December 31, 2013, whichever date is less. CME intends to notify applicants whether their projects have been selected within 60 calendar days of application, so applications shouldn't be submitted too far in advance of the planned start of a project.
